1854 – 1856 гг. - 1

 

    Основным театром военных действий Восточной войны (у нас Крымской войны) 1853 – 1856 гг.  был Крым. Именно сюда ведущие европеидные державы послали свои лучшие армии. Например, британская «Таймс» писала, что их части, посланные в Крым, являются лучшими  войсками когда-либо покидавшие Британские острова.

   В конечном счёте, в Крыму оказались войска Франции (официально – Вторая империя), Великобритании и Королевства Сардиния (Пьемонт). Плюс турецкая армия.

Переводить не стал, так как те, кто читает эти строки вполне в теме и в терминах. Исключением является начальный состав британской армии, но это по причине, что раньше я «поднимал» эту тему. Иногда переводил некоторые термины и пояснения.

                                     ФРАНЦУЗСКИЕ ВОЙСКА В КРЫМУ    

1854 – 1855 гг.

 

       Французская армия на середину XIX века являлась лучшей в Европе – и по организации, и по оснащению, и по выучке войск, и по подготовке командного сотава. Прекрасно были организованы штаб, тыл, логистика и т.д., и т.п. Именно поэтому французы и стали главной (если не единственной) ударной силой интервентов. Только благодаря им были одержаны ряд побед над русскими. И именно они своими действиями привели к падению южной части Севастополя.

   Русские мемуары пестрят высокими оценками о французах, в отличии от оценок других армий.

   Что интересно, основная масса французской пехоты была вооружена гладкоствольными ружьями, что опровергает «миф» о техническом превосходстве ружей союзников над русским вооружением. Нарезным были вооружены тиральеры, зуавы, часть гвардии.

    Вначале армия Востока состояла из 4-х пехотных дивизий, плюс кавалерия, артиллерия, но позже армия разрослась до двух корпусов, резерва, гвардии и двух кавалерийских дивизий. «Герои Крыма» стали гордостью Второй империи, некоторые стали маршалами, другие сделали блестящие карьеры.

Всего французы нагнали в Крым около 310.000 человек,  из них убито, умерло около 95.000 человек.

       Этот состав армии, после значительного пополнения, принял участие в двух генеральных штурмах Севастополя – 18 июня и 8 сентября, где французы и сыграли решающую роль. Дралась и у Чёрной речки 4(16).08.1855 г.

French Attack on Malakoff

8 September l855

(Французская атака на Малахов курган 8.09.1855)

 

    Как было сказано выше, именно французы сыграли решающую роль в штурме Севастополя 8.09.1855. Узлом обороны русских был Малахов курган и  его падение вынудило русских отступить на северную сторону Севастопольской бухты, чем, собственно, и закончилась осада Севастополя.

Тут показаны силы штурмовавшие Малахов курган. Ими командовал дивизионный генерал Мак-Магон (Мак-Маон) Мари Эдм Патрис Морис, граф де. Маршал Франции с 1859 г.
